Job Summary
Looking for barback to provide quality experiences to our guests and support for our Service and Bar personnel. A warm table side manner and is required. Due to our constantly evolving menu, we are looking for individuals who welcome continuous education, and can answer general questions about Haven and our menus.
Responsibilities and Duties
Complete assigned set-up duties for the Bar and Service staff
Arrive for evening shifts only, closed most Sundays
Attend and contribute to interactive pre-shift
Fill / Refill water glasses
Clear tables of dirty glassware/plate-ware/silverware
Assist with food-running as needed
Wipe down & Sanitize vacated tables
Help keep restaurant clean by washing and polishing glassware and small wares
Qualifications and Skills
Develop a working knowledge of current menus
Self-motivated and able to prioritize changing needs during the shift
Able to work within a team environment to coordinate a one of a kind dining experience with upbeat, outgoing and positive energy
Accountability, professionalism and a high level of conscientiousness regarding the guest experience
Bar back must be reliable and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining confidence and composure
Ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, moving about the restaurant, handling food, plates, trays, glasses etc, bending, stooping and kneeling
