What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line cook position at bernadette?
We are looking for creative and passionate individuals with a sharp attention to detail to be a part of our collaborative kitchen.
You will work in hand with our executive chef and the other line cooks, be responsible for daily food preparation, execution of recipes, prep, ensuring food quality and consistency, maintaining kitchen production, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen space.
Other duties include collaborating with the front of house team and promoting a positive work environment.
There is room to grow within the kitchen and within the company!
Qualifications
- 1 years of culinary experience in a similar role and / or fine dining establishments
- Excellent kitchen knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
- Strong organization and active listening skills
- Strong time management skills
- Understanding of French, Spanish, and Mediterranean cuisine a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in food quality
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other team members
- Food safety and sanitation certification a plus
