This position is full time, reports to the Foreman, and is considered Non-Exempt for purposes of the FLSA.
Purpose and Essential Duties

Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging,
fabrication, and transportation of goods. -
Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks,
shelves, or vehicles. - Stack or pile materials, such as tools, pipe, or pallets.

Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting
or damage to items being transported. - Verify computations against physical count of stock.

Maintain condition of work area making sure it is free of trash and products are in
the correct location. -
Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to
do the same. -
Receive and fill orders of supplies, materials, tools and equipment to various
jobsites and locations. -
Drive truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or
operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks. - Perform other duties as assigned.
- Select correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction.

Seek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Clear
deviations from the norm with the supervisor. - Exercise independent judgment.

Perform detailed checks or close review of output by a senior coworker and/or
supervisor
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications:
- Construction Material Knowledge Preferred
- Experience working with mechanical and plumbing piping Preferred
- Experience in inventory cycling & management Preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift
Travel:
>10%
Physical/Work Environment Requirements:
Must be able to lift material in weight up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, stand for long periods, drive company vehicle to and from material vendors, work outside for long periods, etc.
