We are interested in your ability to help draft and edit detailed information into easily readable and understandable content. We are looking for a critical thinker. Position Summary
Reports to the Manager of Technical Publications.
This position will work on technical publications and related materials for aviation operations, training, safety, HR and other corporate departments. The technical writer will follow standardized company formats and templates in order to develop documents within WebManuals, an online digital document authoring application. The candidate works under moderate supervision in a collaborative team environment. An ability to conduct independent research is useful, though not critical. The candidate will perform administrative documentation tasks associated with maintaining company operating practices, processes, policies, and procedures. This will involve data entry and word processing in addition to the conversion of materials from various formats (Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) into the company's document management system. The candidate should have good software user skills and be resourceful, organized, and comfortable working independently on assigned tasks or as part of a team. Assuring high-quality documents and completion of assigned workload in a timely manner is vital to the success of this position.
