- Work with others to assist in the development and implementation of capital projects that will reduce costs and improve operating efficiency.
- Provide engineering support for new equipment upgrades and special projects in the Injection Molding Department.
- Convert PDF manufacturing prints into editable 2D and 3D models.
- Look for improvements/enhancement opportunities and implement them.
- Lead at least one engineering related project.
- Perform any other duties established by the Engineering department.
- Assist with special projects on designated teams.
- Comply with all company Environmental Health and Safety and Department of Health requirements.
Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- Current enrollment in an engineering program. Preferably at the junior/senior level.
- Working knowledge of MS office and Windows. SW and Auto Cad knowledge preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Cooperative attitude with team-oriented disposition.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work extra hours as needed.
- This position will require a minimum of 20 hours per week.
