Job Title: Registered Nurse Cath Lab RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Cath Lab procedures to join our team. The Cath Lab RN will assist in the care of patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker implantation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor patient vital signs during cardiac procedures
- Administer medications as prescribed by the cardiologist
- Assist with catheterization and other invasive procedures
- Provide post-procedure care and education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
