What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Director position at Best Point Education & Behavioral Health?
This position reports to the President & CEO and is a member of the senior leadership team.
Minimum Education, Experience and Other Skill Requirements:
Physician licensed as a Doctor of Medicine in the State of Ohio. Must be board-certified (ABPN) in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry; have experience in managing clinicians/physicians, working in/with managed care and a background in quality improvement. DEA license required. Additional certifications preferred, such as current CPR.
Must possess minimum technical/computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications. Must have experience using and navigating an electronic medical record and performing telehealth services.
