The Senior Manager, Media is the strategic leader of the Marriott Digital Services (MDS) Media discipline. MDS is a cost-recoverable in-house agency within the Global Technology Organization that provides digital support to Marriott hotels globally. MDS Media runs customized paid search, paid social, display and other digital campaigns to meet client objectives.
The Senior Manager, MDS Media:
- Leads the MDS Media Consultation and Operations teams driving associate engagement and satisfaction.
- Runs large scale campaigns utilizing media buying/planning, campaign management and performance analysis skills.
- Collaborates with MDS Operations on PLUS (Marriott’s proprietary media platform) and the PLUS Hotel Consultation Program.
- Uses data driven insights and analytics to inform strategic decision making and maximize KPIs across media channels.
- Thinks creatively and practically to develop and implement paid media solutions to meet client needs.
- Works closely with internal MDS teams to drive client satisfaction as measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS)
- Collaborates with the Global Media Organization and other HQ teams to ensure alignment of media strategies.
Candidate Profile
Education And Experience
- BS/BA degree from an accredited university or related experience in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, related field of study, or equivalent experience/certification
- 4 years of relevant work experience (digital marketing, paid media, client services, communications, etc.)
- 2 years of paid media experience
- Experience with DV360, SA360, Google Ads, Google Campaign Manager, Facebook/Instagram, Sprinklr and other media platforms a plus
- Salesforce knowledge preferred
- Prior experience in a high paced, evolving environment

Managing Work, Projects, And Policies
- Responsible for driving media sales and revenue growth for MDS.
- Oversees the implementation, ongoing optimization, and reporting for media campaigns globally.
- Accountable for program/campaign deliverables and quality review of team/vendor work, timeliness, and execution.
- Leads efforts to implement and/or improve processes, systems, and campaign management tools.
- Ensures accurate billing in partnership with Business Support.
- Continually aligns strategies with best practices to improve quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Creates new workflows, training guidelines and documentation (as needed) to improve program/campaign delivery.
- Ensures media services are economically viable, efficient, repeatable, KPI-driven, and scalable.

- Manages the engagement with media partners, vendors, and enterprise teams.
- Demonstrates ability to balance the interest and demands of multiple stakeholders.
- Works with internal, enterprise, brand, and regional teams to identify new media opportunities.

- Actively engages with key vendors and agencies.
Tools And Vendors
- Oversees media platforms including but not limited to PLUS, DV360, SA360, Google Ads, Google Campaign Manager, Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Sprinklr.
- Leverages Salesforce and other systems to manage processes and workflow.
- Works with vendor partners to support business objectives
Measurement And Analytics
- Analyzes campaign performance, provides strategic and tactical recommendations to increase performance.
- Identifies media channels that are most effective at driving performance and scale across MDS.
- Measures campaigns using appropriate key performance indicator (KPI) classifications based on media type – impressions, clicks, CPB, CTR, CPC, CPA, CPM, RFPs, Call to Book, conversions.

- Supervises a team of Managers, Senior Digital Analysts, Analysts, and vendor partners.
- Makes sure associates understand performance expectations and business priorities.
