What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reporter/Editor position at Better Newpapers, Inc.?

We are looking for a full time reporter/editor for our community weekly newspaper in the Douglas County area. Responsibilities include covering local government, police and fire news, schools, feature stories and community events. Must have a love of writing and basic photography skills. Layout skills a plus. Basic computer skills a must.

A Journalism degree is not required, but is a strong plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,200.00 - $36,400.00 per year
