What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gig Driver for Minneapolis, Hiring Now position at Better Trucks?
We’re looking for Gig Drivers to help deliver packages in Minneapolis.
Earn approximately $20-25 per estimated delivery hour. Pay is based upon a Route length and the pre-determined route completion time, with a route pay of no less than $100.

BETTER TRUCKS is a last mile delivery company delivering packages across the country. We are seeking "GiG" Delivery Drivers for our residential delivery team. You get to enjoy the flexibility and luxury of delivering packages in your own vehicle, through Better Trucks SHIFT. We are always seeking additional team members.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have an iPhone or Android
- Minimum age of 21
- Must have a working vehicle
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must undergo a background check going
- Must have a smartphone, charger and car adapter
- Must be computer literate and able to operate a Smartphone/GPS device with a scanner
- Must treat everyone with respect
- Must treat packages with care
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Knowledge of a 20-25 mile radius of your hubs' pick-up location is preferred
PERKS & BENEFITS
- Drivers are paid appropriately by "Route Length,'' which is determined by the Better Trucks Central Operations and Dispatch Teams.
- Drivers will receive a "Route-Quote" after the driver has accepted the route.
- You will be paid a flat rate for the route.
- All packages must be attempted, with any "failed" packages returned to the hub before executing payment.
- GET PAID THE SAME FLAT RATE, EVEN IF YOU FINISH EARLY!
- Payment is done through Direct Deposit ONLY. Note: We DO NOT pay drivers through Cashapp, Venmo, Zelle, Chime or Paypal. We can not accommodate these requests.
- Larger vehicles are highly desired (but not required)
