POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Generalist supports the organization in all aspects of the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) Department including recruitment, orientation, administration, training, team member relations, and facilitation of engagement activities. This position supports a cooperative, flexible, working relationship with all team members. This is a hybrid position located in Bellevue, Washington.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Manages onboarding and offboarding processes. Prepares and processes new hire paperwork including background checks, drug screens, personnel files, and facilitating new hire orientation.
- Facilitates employee termination process, including all documentation, exit interviews; tracks turnover data.
- Manages US immigration program. Effectively communicates solutions to internal clients and sponsored employees in collaboration with external immigration counsel. Maintain compliance documents and distributes related immigration reporting.
- Recruits, screens, interviews, and hires job applicants; collaborates with department managers to understand skillsets and competencies required for roles.
- Maintains all employee records and data, including historical data for hiring, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, termination, employment statistics, disciplinary actions, bonuses, etc.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws related to Human Resources and ensures all relevant data is entered into the payroll and/or HRIS system; manages employee records according to state regulations.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, team members, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Assists with employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions. Always maintains confidentiality in dealing with confidential matters and protected information
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Promotes a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives. Assists with planning and execution of team member events.
- Oversees support work from HR Admin where appropriate
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with 3-5 years in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience is required. Certification in HR (PHR or SHRM-CP) and knowledge of OSHA standards are both a plus.
- Proven experience in the areas of onboarding and immigration is required.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, employee benefits and state and federal employment laws, while maintaining the highest degree of accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism in all situations. Familiarity with compensation programs preferred.
- Exhibits exceptional computer skills including experience with Microsoft Suite and HR systems. ADP Workforce Now and iCIMS preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills including the ability to empathize and diffuse sensitive or contentious issues.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to train, influence and motivate team members.
- Exhibits excellence in writing, formatting and editing written correspondence.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines and prioritize tasks. Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills: accuracy is essential.
- Mandarin, Spanish, or Portuguese a plus.

- A competitive pay range of $70,000-80,000 (depending on experience) KPI bonus

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
