We are looking to hire a Director of Memory Care to join our team. The Director of Memory Care is responsible for the coordination of all resident care, activity programming and staffing of Memory Care services throughout the community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops and leads engaging activities that are appropriate for the level of care that allows residents the opportunity to exercise their mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of their lives.
- Coordinate special outside activities including scenic drives or field trips
- Assists the Director of Life Enrichment with calendar ideas and programming
- Prepare and follow a Budget
- Interface with physicians and other care providers if needed
- Supervision of staff including creating and coordinating staffing schedules

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- Minimum two years’ experience in specialized dementia care programs
- CPR Certified

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position is required to frequently sit for long periods of time, walk, stand, and communicate with residents, staff, family members and the public. Occasionally bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position typically operates indoors in an air-conditioned office, with a mixture of natural, incandescent and fluorescent light.
