Job Description: Ambulance Services-EMT Part-Time, Third Shift Hamburg Unit Description: Emergency Medical Services that provides urgent pre-hospital care and transport to patients. Baptist Health Lexington Ambulance Service is a provider established in Lexington, Kentucky operating as a Ambulance with a focus in land transport. Description: Provides non-emergent medical transport for patients discharged from inpatient care to discharge destination. Utilizes necessary medical equipment to maintain patient care and status during transport. Safely delivers patients to discharge destination and communicates effectively between facilities. Provides emergent medical care when needed within BLS guidelines. Communicates with the medical care facility receiving the patient about the patient’s condition, status, and arrival time. Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. Emergency Medical Technician-Basic Certification or Paramedic by the Kentucky Board of EMS required. Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator’s License required. Valid Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association required.
