Job Description: Orderly, Transportation of hospital patients to and from the Radiology department. Proper use of hospital beds, wheelchairs, and patient lifting equipment. Assist patients ranging in age from birth to death. Assist technologists and physicians with difficult patients. Performs other tasks and duties required in the normal operation of the Radiology department. Complies with the policies, principles, and activities established by the Code of Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Program. Assures proper patient identification by utilizing the 2-step identification method before transporting a patient. Is familiar with the Ticket-to-Ride program and follows procedures. May check defibrillator locks daily and perform other duties as assigned by the Director. Maintains good attitude toward patients, staff, and the management team. Must participate in CQI activities and provide input for daily improvement board. May perform duties of office worker as needed.
