What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly position at BHS Composites?
BHS Composites has been present for twenty eight (28) years in the North American market. Our company is specialized in composites and are focused on environmental purposes such as electric vehicles, medical and safety training. We serve a prestigious clientele in the utility and public transport, medical and equipment markets such as training equipment for aircraft pilots and military training.
Our St-Johnsbury plant will be implementing an electric vehicle line for composites light weight corrosion resistant components and are looking for new recruits for the initial phase of this operation. Day-to-day work involves working as part of a team you will complete the following tasks :
- Make sure that the template is clean before installing the part to assemble
- Use the appropriate glue
- Do a dry fit before applying the glue
- Put the glue at the right place as shown in the work instructions
- Wipe extra glue from parts when both parts are set with the jig and compressed, glue all around the part and fill in the places were it may need more
- If necessary, grind the parts for a better fit
- Make sure to grind both sides of the part to be glued and clean with acetone before gluing.
- Keep area clean and safe
