The Vice President of Sales, Walmart & Sam’s Club is responsible for the direction and management of all sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, distribution and channel strategy. You will drive the company’s achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop short and long range business strategy that drive revenue growth with Walmart and Sam’s Club
- Deliver accurate forecasting and business planning internally, while continuing the depth of account relations with Walmart and Sam’s Club management teams
- Lead sales data analysis garnering key insights to drive businesses decisions and ensure growth plans remain consistent with annual goals for Walmart and Sam’s Club
- Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
- Continuously review sales and marketing performance and customer satisfaction to ensure achievement of performance objectives
- Be an instrumental leader for the BIC organization that champions a culture of success, collaboration and embracing transformation.
- Build capabilities by encouraging a pipeline of external and internal talent to continually enrich and elevate team skills, experience, and diversity.
- Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
- Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years within CPG industry of which 5 have been in a supervisory capacity
- Possess current industry relationships with Walmart and Sam’s Club
- Proven track record of developing new business focusing on CPG industry
- Proven successful track record in sales, with an understanding of the strategic approach to long term objectives, and the strength of commercial returns from a partnering approach
- Results driven, possessing a proven track record of delivering against targets
- Strong communication skills both internally and externally, with the ability to influence senior levels, in order to get the right result
- An experienced, thought leader who can create a strong vision and inspire others across the organization, while being both innovative and agile
- Skilled in establishing trusted relationships, navigating a large organization, and driving strategic deals to a close
- Ability to assess market trends and offer innovative solutions to solve customer challenges
- In-depth knowledge of data, marketing solutions and analytics, with a focus on Consumer industries
- Operates successfully in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
