POSITION SUMMARY
Technical Support Engineer provides technical training of our products and their use in the field in all applications. Provide technical training to sales team and customers in the use of our products, reports incidents and conducts investigations to identify root cause of any field claims. Partners with the Sales team as well as the Engineering team to identify customer engineering solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support sales team with delivering technical presentations to potential and existing clients to promote BICO solutions
Provide technical training and customer support for New and existing Products
Assist in training and technical development of our customers in the use of our products
Provide on-site support when needed to support customers in running our products
Partner with shop team to ensure product and service quality
Onboarding and Training of new Sales and Shop employees
Monitor compliance with Company Standard Operating Procedures to ensure quality standards are met
Proactively assess customer field operations for best practices
Maintain face-to-face customer relationships
Assist team to increase sales of new products and other products that require more technical expertise
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive activity and associated technology
Ensures a safe work environment, promotes a safety culture
Promptly reports every employee incident, near miss, or injury to QHSE Manager as soon as possible
Maintains accurate service reports, monitors the performance of tools and informs Engineering Supervisor/Manager of recurring issues
Engages in problem-solving by performing root cause analysis, interpreting results and providing written recommendations to ensure products used by customer are performing at optimal levels.
Assist Sales Reps with start-ups of new applications in both existing customer and in new accounts, site surveys, product application audits and field evaluation of new products.
Assess on-site field problems and conduct required testing
Evaluate products for service, reliability, quality and performance
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related Engineering Field
Minimum of 2-years experience working in Oil & Gas Industry
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to speak and comprehend English
Ability to train and develop technical capabilities in others
Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional team
Well organized, proactive and customer focused

Adaptable and flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others.
Physical Demands:
Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
