Bicycle Technician - Full Time

Our Techs are our unsung Heroes. They work hard behind the scenes to build bikes for eager new riders to enjoy and repair/maintain bikes to keep riders riding. This is not your dad's old "bike shop" environment. It's fast paced and very detail oriented with a high level of mechanical and technical skills needed in areas of suspension, electronic shifting, "e"bike motors/drivetrain, hydraulic brakes/shifting, and much more. Our Techs have an uncanny ability to heal bikes from any ailments so their owners enjoy more Freedom, Fitness & Fun.

Work at our centralized service center-

• Maintaining, repairing or replacing components on bicycles, including standard and e-bikes.
• Work on brands of bikes we carry. Giant, Santa Cruz, Niner, Liv, Diamondback, Aventon, Magnum and Himiway.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Experience preferred working as a technician/ mechanic in a bike shop.
• Previous bike assembly experience or equivalent preferred
• Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing excellent sales and service experience while increasing sales through service
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees
• Interest in developing own skills and knowledge
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to periodically lift 50 pounds

What you get

• Base pay - $18-$30 per hour
• Incentive pay 
• 5% of all completed service
• Team Bonus - Monthly service goals. When the department surpasses its monthly goals each team member of the store earns an extra bonus.
