Bid Ops is scaling the first ever predictive procurement automation software. Typical
enterprise procurement has many disparate data sources that are often underutilized to make smarter and more efficient purchases. Via a blend of predictive AI models and user-centric design, Bid Ops is re-imagining enterprise procurement teams as a powerful lever to digitize and improve global supply chains. We’re looking for a passionate Data Analyst to join our Product Team to help us achieve our vision of procurement that changes the world of business operations in positive and meaningful ways.
Bid Ops is at an exciting stage of growth. This role will help build out the Data Team and report directly to the Head of Data Science and Machine Learning. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work with innovative customers and fantastic internal engineering and customer success teams to transform enterprise procurement. Given the early stage of Bid Ops, this role has the ability to grow into several different areas of Data Team responsibility.

- Data science and visualization: Dataiku, Verb, Excel
- Project management and collaboration: Trello, Miro, Pivotal Tracker, Slack
- Workflow and Analytics: Intercom, Amplitude, Fullstory, Segment
An ideal candidate has:
- Excellent communications skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership
- 1 year of experience translating real world data into clearly actionable insights (Excel)
- 1 year of experience with a data visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
- Willingness to immerse yourself in a data science studio for collaborative data analysis
- Growth mindset to drive value for customers through innovation
- Bonus: experience with Python, R, or another scripting language
Day to day responsibilities:
- Ingest and transform static data for customer insights and the Bid Ops application.
- Build reporting dashboards for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Organize workflows to be re-used across customers.
- Monitor and edit the Bid Ops application data model.
