BidOut, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and driven City Sales (Outside Sales) Representative to join our team. As the leading procurement platform in the energy industry, BidOut's mission is to simplify the procurement process and connect service providers directly to buyers. Our focus is to streamline the bidding process for engineering, supply chain, and procurement on one easy-to-use platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth for our freight/logistics business by building and maintaining relationships with potential clients in the oil and gas industry. While experience is preferred, entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Identify and prospect new business opportunities.
Actively promote and sell our logistics solution to potential clients while working diligently to close deals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide excellent customer service to clients before, during and after sales transactions.
Maintain a strong understanding of the oil and gas industry to effectively articulate the value of our platform to potential clients.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for new business.
Attend industry conferences and events to network and gain knowledge of industry trends.
Ensure all client communications and interactions are accurately and promptly entered into the relevant CRM system.
Requirements
At least 2 years of proven outside sales experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Sound knowledge and understanding of oil and gas logistics processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
Ability to travel to client sites ~80% of the week.
Proficient in the use of common technology and general applications.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
