The company is seeking a Sales Manager to join the sales department who has the ability to develop strategies to expand the business into new territories. The goal of the position is to develop the company's sales efforts to increase brand and product awareness in the U.S. e-commerce market and attract the attention of potential customers. The position is completely independent of your location in the US.
The scope of the position is the further development of the sales activities of the company to drive the brand and product recognition, getting traction in the US e-commerce market and to gain attention from potential customers. Target is to broaden the potential of leads to customers with aspirating demand that are interested in the services provided.
The Sales Manager role contains
Getting in touch with people, either by cold calling or by following a hot lead, is the key to success for a service and a product that requires explanation. To support our ambitious growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record in winning prospects and customers. Main targets are sellers, brands, agencies and other marketing services active in the e-commerce business.
- Actively generating new business opportunities and consulting with customers
- Analysis of requirements to be able to help customers and to deliver the tool they need
- Cold calling und processing inbound leads
- Expansion of customer relations
- Further development of the strategic customer approach
- Responsible for advising and developing customers, according to the sales strategy
- Planning, steering of the acquisition process
- Winning new customers, starting from the pitch to the closing of deals
- Consistent development of the own contact network
Your profile should be
- Proven experience in sales
- A successfully completed degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
- Strong communication skills
- Track record in sales and former success stories in developed sales growth
- Results driven
- A good knowledge in technical topics, software, internet, e-commerce
- Good understanding of the e-commerce customer experience.
- A high level of initiative & reliability and the motivation to continuously optimize procedures
- Excellent communication skills, as well as self organized, autonomous work ethics
- Entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and a hands on mentality are essential to us
- Nice to have: Knowledge of the Amazon marketplace, PPC und DSP Management
