What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tire and Service Sales Associate/Assistant Store Manager position at Big O Tires?
We are a family-owned Tire and Mechanic Shop that has been serving our customers at this location for over 50 years! We're looking for a passionate, motivated, and experienced professional to join our team as a Sales Representative / Assistant Manager. We are looking for someone with prior experience in the tire industry, who possesses a strong work ethic and strong organizational skills. They would be responsible for managing inventory, selling products to customers, and most importantly, creating a pleasant work environment. Responsibilities:
- Help supervise and manage store operations
- Ensure sales goals are achieved by assisting in the development and implementation of sales plans, profit control, thorough knowledge of Tire and mechanic services, and other products of the automotive industry
- Help with customer phone calls / quotes
- Help maintain a clean and orderly environment including: sales floor, bathrooms, shop, and outside grounds
- Introduce tire and service products to customers to maximize sales and customer satisfaction
- Ability to problem solve
- Support teammates in establishing and maintaining a productive environment
- Ability to learn and utilize the computer systems provided to enter in customer information, look up quotes, manage inventory, and bill customers out.
- Oversee shop operations, making sure all employees are productive and on-task
Requirements:
- High school or GED equivalent
- Guest and team focused mindset
- Valid Driver License
- At least 3-4 years of experience in Tire Sales and Service
- Excellent communication skills and business mentality
- Problem-solving skills
- Must be dedicated, reliable, and stable
- Must be able to pass drug screening
- Motivated and positive attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
