Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of products
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely order fulfillment
Skills:
- Strong basic math skills for cash handling and calculating customer transactions
- Knowledge of retail
- Experience using a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations in the food industry
Note: Prior experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
