BiggsKofford, one of the largest boutique CPA firms in Colorado, primarily serves closely held businesses, nonprofits, and healthcare organizations. The Tax Administrator at BiggsKofford will work with tax professionals, including partners in the firm, to assist with the administration of the Tax Department.
BiggsKofford is team-oriented, offering a friendly work environment. This is an administrative position that requires strong communication and organizational skills. The Tax Administrator reports directly to the Tax Department management, supporting critical work functions of other team members, clients, and tax partners.

Location
· Work is primarily performed in the Colorado Springs office location
· Expected 40 hours per week from December through April.
· Flexible / Reduced schedule available during the “off-season” of May through November.
To be a successful candidate, you will have:
- 2 years administrative experience with increasing responsibilities
- Experience working in a financial or professional services firm
- Excellent Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF skills
- Ability to multi-task, switching between clients throughout any given day
- Computer literacy with ability to learn multiple software programs
- Verbal and written ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- Self-motivation with attention to deadlines
- Excellent organization and time management skills
Responsibilities:
Manage tax deadlines and extension requirements for firm clients
Preparation of annual tax organizers delivered to client
Assist with the workflow of tax return preparation and delivery
Maintain an organized filing system of electronic documents
Drafting correspondence with tax agencies
Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
Requirements:
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Self-motivator with excellent organization skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Verbal and Written Communication Skills a must
Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
Prior administrative experience necessary
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.
