Job description

Responsibilities:
- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Drives vehicle onto wheel alignment rack and tests vehicle for faulty wheel alignment, bent axle, worn ball joints and bent steering rods & suspension issues.
- Replaces steering tie rods, adjusts tie rods and joining pins & camber to align wheels.
- Able to use wheel balancing machine.
- Use acetylene torches in safe manner.
- Installs shock absorbers & strus.
- Attends manufacturer product training as requested.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License w/ acceptable driving record
- Valid State of Maine Vehicle Inspection License preferred but not required
- Current ASE and/or OEM Certifications are strongly preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Knowledge in automotive repair and maintenance
- Team Player
- Ability to learn new technology, service procedures and specifications
- Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Able to endure repetitive and prolonged bending and reaching
