Position: Warehouse Picker
Department / Area: Warehouse
Report to: Warehouse Pick/Pack Supervisor
Under the direction of the Warehouse Pick/Pack Supervisor, the Warehouse Picker is responsible for picking our customers’ orders. The Warehouse Picker is responsible for safely operating electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift or elevating platform if licensed. The Warehouse Picker is required to push, lift, stack, or move products and materials by performing the following duties. They are also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and safety of the product produced.
Job Descriptions/Responsibilities:
· Accurately pick orders via RF device.
· Utilize cart or pallet jack safely for use in collecting order components.
· Correctly select product from appropriate location and place into correct container.
· If licensed to, safely operate forklifts, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport loads to designated area.
· Inventory materials in the warehouse.
· Safely load or unload materials onto and off pallets, skids, or lifting device. Must be able to document information as per SOP.
· Capable of cleaning and maintenance of warehouse areas, forklifts and powered material handler.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Comply with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance.
· Follow SOPs, cGMP, Safety Rules, and Food Safety practices.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in manufacturing/packaging/warehouse/distribution of food / dietary supplements preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able communicate in English (verbal & written).
- Excellent ability to produce high-quality documentation of work in a fast paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to lift, bend, stand and walk repeatedly within a warehouse environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31,200.00 - $33,280.00 per year
