BioReference is a lab diagnostics company, looking for a high-energy Sales professional (Account Executive) to join our team and further develop their sales career. Reporting directly to the Regional Senior Director of Sales for Strategic Venture Solutions and working closely with the marketing and sales teams, the Account Executive (AE) role will perform outreach to new potential customers in the call points for our Strategic Venture Solutions division in the New York and New Jersey markets.
Position Summary:
This role will be responsible for identifying new Hospital, Health System, and Hospital Outreach Business opportunities and additional Business Development partnerships as a means to grow revenue. The position requires gaining a thorough understanding of our products and services, our target customers, and competitive alternative technology.
This role will leverage lead generations tools, virtual events and programs, as well as partner with colleagues to identify and nurture new sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Duties will include but not limited to the following:
- Closing and managing sales opportunities in your assigned territory
- Identify and prioritize target accounts and key prospective contacts
- Contact new prospects daily through various channels, and articulate our company’s value proposition
- Make cold calls and connect with new people
- Strategic planning and executing territory and account development initiatives to generate demand in identified areas of greatest opportunity
- Nurture and develop interest to identify qualified sales opportunities through sales pipeline
- Maintain accurate and timely notes on interactions within the CRM system
- Achieve annual quota and monthly targets by closing NEW sales
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of successful business-to-business outside sales experience
- Demonstrated success in multi-tier call points and large organizations
- Working knowledge of healthcare and healthcare landscape
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross functional departments to drive growth
- Must have a clean, valid Driver License and a vehicle to use for work on a daily basis
- Solid PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years Healthcare Sales Experience, preferably with background in hospital sales and/or large organizations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to articulate your selling process
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- Excellent skill in adaptability, building relationships, formal presentation skills, and problem resolution
