The Security Analyst is focused on assisting the overall mission of the Information Systems Security team, focusing on current and future solutions within the EEC (Employee Experience Center). This role requires strong collaboration skills with local, regional, and global stakeholders. The Security Analyst will be required to monitor the security landscape consistently to protect the company from the latest threats. In addition, they will be responsible for security incidents and requests related to the EEC scope.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the company's Quality System guidelines.
- Support and manage incidents and requests for security solutions such as Anti-spam, Anti-Virus Bitlocker, and other (Employee Experience Center) security solutions.
- Administer and audit the various solutions (Anti-Spam, Anti-Virus, Encryption, Asset Management, Patch Management) implemented at bioMerieux.
- Work on continuous improvement plans according to the new threats, risks, vulnerabilities, and user feedback of the Information Systems.
- Assist the Information Systems Security teams' mission on the EEC responsibilities at the group level.
- Ensure the promotion of Services and features to end users
- Measure key performance indicators related to the Information Security systems.
- Report performance levels to the Information Systems Security Team.
- Participate in root cause analysis and postmortem assessments.
- Assist IS teams to ensure that the Information Systems solutions deployed have the appropriate protections and address the IS risks and threats.
- Review security features of new Information Systems components, including mobile, social media, cloud-based solutions, and ensure compliance and consistency with existing security policies.
- Write and curate knowledge base entries for supported systems and services.
- Participate in developing processes and procedures related to Information Systems Security at bioMerieux. Communicate these policies to bioMerieux stakeholders, employees, partners, and external suppliers.
- Assist in collecting documents requested for security audits and support security audits. Manage exceptions to security policies.
- As needed and as assigned, assist with after-hours support activities.

Qualifications
Training and Education
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
Preferred:
- CompTIA: A , Network , Security ; Microsoft Security compliance and identity fundamentals certifications; other relevant Security certifications.
- ITIL Foundations certified.
- Post-graduate degree in Information Technology
Experience
Minimum time and type experience required for this position.
Required:
- 5 years working in Information Systems with a focus on security operations.
Preferred:
- 2 years maintaining Active Directory objects such as users, computers, and groups.
- 3 years administrating Enterprise Antivirus and Antispam solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
IS (Information Systems) skills.
- Strong understanding of troubleshooting methods.
- Robust knowledge of Windows and Mac OS Security best practices.
- Understanding of penetration testing and techniques.
- Ability to identify and mitigate Information system vulnerabilities.
- Knowledgeable with patch management best practices.
- Experience managing Antivirus and Antispam solutions such as Microsoft Defender suite.
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM, Azure, Intune, Bitlocker, Last pass eSSO.
