The Senior Enterprise Systems Analyst IT role serves as a techno-functional expert for Vaxcyte’s current and future enterprise applications and related technologies. Working closely with business and managed services partners, this role is responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining various enterprise systems and related technologies. This includes supporting systems for internal customers, such as Quality, Legal, HR, and other business units. While technical in nature, this role drives business value by blending technology expertise with business process know-how. This is a hands-on role that reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise IT Systems at Vaxcyte’s San Carlos, California headquarters.

The compensation package will be competitive and includes comprehensive benefits and an equity component.
Salary Range: $157,000 – $174,000

The Senior Enterprise Systems Analyst IT role serves as a techno-functional expert for Vaxcyte’s current and future enterprise applications and related technologies. Essential Functions
- Production enhancements and support of various IT enterprise systems (e.g. Veeva).
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with internal business partners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Customize and configure various enterprise systems, including creating of custom fields, records, workflows, reports and scripts.
- Create and maintain system-specific IT documentation such as configurations, business processes, operating procedures, templates, design standards, and forms.
- Work with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
- Support workflow automation projects to increase the efficiency and accuracy of enterprise systems.
- Provide project management support for new initiatives and enhancement efforts for assigned Enterprise Systems.
- Oversee end-to-end change control activities for configuration changes and platform upgrades.
- Follow GxP change management processes for validated systems.
- Support SOX and other audits as required.
- Train end users, triage, troubleshoot and help resolve issues related to supported applications.
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, design, and configuration activities.
- Coordinate with managed services, business partners and assurance teams to implement planned releases and functional change requests.
- Work with IT Operations to support provisioning and de-provisioning efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- 3 years of experience with any Veeva Vault Platform systems.
- 5- 7 years of total IT Systems experience.
- Experience with validated GxP environments including implementation, documentation and change management.
- Life Sciences company experience.
- Extensive experience as a business systems analyst for Enterprise IT systems.
- Experience with contract management and HR systems is a plus.
- Veeva system administration certification is a plus.
- Docusign administration experience is a plus.
- As is/to be process mapping and analysis.
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues including root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Technical writing skills for updating SOPs, defining business requirements and documenting business processes.
