The HR Specialist – Employment Documents works in close relationship with Human Resources, Commission Specialists, Corporate Counsel, and sales management to produce accurate and compliant employment agreements and other compensation-related employee documentation.
The work location is hybrid out of the BIOTRONIK Lake Oswego, Oregon office, or remote within U.S. based on skill set and qualifications.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare employment agreements, amendments, separation agreements and other contractual documents in accordance with company guidelines
- Prepare various memorandums for the sales organization, including commission and territory definitions
- Perform analyses of complex commission and incentive structures, and provide insight to sales leaders to help guide decision-making
- Collaborate with commission specialists and other internal business partners to implement accurate and legally compliant commission and territory structures
- Navigate legal requirements, system limitations and business outcomes while maintaining positive relationships
- Understand labor law requirements, monitor new developments, and translate those into actions under the guidance of HR and corporate counsel
- Identify and create efficiencies, scalability, and consistency through the use of technology and other tools
- Build relationships across broader teams/functions to effectively partner with the business
- Maintain and update a variety of databases and tracking logs
- Lead or assist with other projects as requested
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and two or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience solving complex problems
- Advanced critical thinking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Strong personal alignment with ethics, integrity and a deep respect for confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Use of sound judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information
- Willingness to take direction and accept supervision, and also work independently and take initiative
- Ability to be flexible with time and adjust to a changing, fast-paced work environment
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
