BISCO is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our thriving organization. We are an internationally recognized manufacturer of medical devices for the dental industry, specializing in the advancement and research of adhesive and composite technology. Our Marketing team is an important part of our growth.
Primary Job Function for the Associate Product Manager: Responsible for supporting the development and implementation of assigned product category strategies, new product development, and the marketing and training of new products to ensure growth, profitability, and positive brand image.
Specific core responsibilities of the Associate Product Manager include:
- Assist with strategic life cycle management
- New Product Development Process: Research, write and present feasibility, contribute to design inputs, determine data/testing requirements, and develop labeling/packaging
- Introduction/Launch of New Products: Assist with product positioning & pricing. Collaborate on writing and editing brochure content, e-media, and social-media content/copy. Develop and present product sales training. Assist with KOL development
- Product Growth: Assist with promotion development, collaborate on the creation of product advertising, and research and develop competitive product comparison documents
- Product Maturity: Provide input and execute improvements/enhancements or line extensions of existing products
- Product Decline: Evaluate end of the product lifecycle and complete final obsolescence
- The Associate Product Manager works closely with cross-functional teams such as: R&D, Creative & Clinical Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing on design and product specifications
Requirements:
- Education and/or experience in the fundamental aspects of product development and marketing
- Team oriented, motivated, and exceptionally organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented
- Comfortable with public speaking/presenting information
- Minimal travel required. 0-2 times per year, up to 3 days/trip. Primarily domestic travel.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (Marketing or Business degree preferred)
Relevant Work Experience:
- 0-2 years relevant work experience in product management, product development, and/or marketing
