Assistant Manager
Position Summary: support and ensure that the restaurant operates with Biscuitville guidelines, while meeting/exceeding sales and profitability objectives. The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing all aspects the restaurant including the selection, development and performance management of Restaurants team members optimizing profits and increasing sales.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - This is a general guideline of duties not a complete job description:
- Manage day to day operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision making, Team Member support, Guest Interaction, scheduling and planning while upholding highest standards, product quality and cleanliness.
- Ensure the environment in the restaurant supports our core values of Integrity, Authenticity, Accountability, Passion Gratuity and Respect.
- Assist with the selection, on boarding and retention of Team Members through motivation, recognition, coaching and development
- Exemplify and recognize Guest Obsessed Service and quality to ensure 100% Guest satisfaction.
- Responsible for compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes as well as Company safety and security policies. Ensuring team is following safe work behavior standards.
- Assist with efficiently scheduling labor and ordering food and supplies to maintain appropriate inventory.
- Champion and adhere to all Biscuitville standards and policies including the Code of Conduct, Attendance and Uniform and Appearance standards
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of work experience in a quick service restaurant preferably at a manager or supervisor level.
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate employees in a fast paced environment.
- Proven ability to successfully control costs while increasing sales and profitability.
- Basic math and accounting skills with ability to understand profit and loss statements.
- Ability to operate and navigate computer systems including but not limited to sending and receiving e-mails and creating, printing and saving documents.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages.
- Ability to proficiently write, read, speak, hear, and comprehend English with or without corrective devices.
- Ability to effectively manage 5-30 subordinate employees and up to two management level employees.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Bending, reaching, twisting, turning, grasping, pushing, pulling and walking involved.
