Growing and Hiring an OPERATOR TRAINEE / GENERAL MANAGER - in the Greensboro NC area
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruiting and developing a team that’s motivated to provide your guest with an exceptional experience, while rendering excellent guest service as well.
- Ability to lead and coach a high preforming team of 20-40 employees.
- Accurate and timely daily and weekly accounting.
- Maintaining excellent food quality and safety by insuring prescribed holding times, recipes, use of timers, etc.
- Follow brand standards.
- Maximizing sales.
- Conducting himself/herself as a leader in Biscuitville as well as in the community.
- Responsible for all operating costs and cash control.
- Ensuring proper inventory levels through accurate ordering.
- Onboarding team members and coaching each on their desired career path.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Education
- High School/GED preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Education
- 5 or more years of supervisory experience in restaurant, retail, and/or packaged goods fields highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in making professional presentations.
- Must be self-motivated, proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication skills. Must be computer literate.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record according to Biscuitville’s policy.
- Able to successfully complete a pre-employment criminal, credit, MVR, and drug tests and any additional tests or screening deemed necessary by Biscuitville.
- Reliable transportation required for daily tasks such as errands, bank deposits, etc. Regular local travel required.
- You must be available to travel within the Durham area (and possibly relocate within our NC/VA company footprint) to support our restaurants as required by business needs.
Working Conditions
- Required to stand for extended periods of time, frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel and reach, push and pull with hands and arms, frequently required to talk and hear, occasionally required to walk, sit, bend, stoop, or crouch.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; ability to read and write in English; ability to speak fluent English, ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions; ability to deal with situations which include many variables; ability to perform math, ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement and volume.
