Bits In Glass (BIG), is seeking a multifaceted Delivery Manager to join our team, to work with customers and be responsible for the successful delivery of projects and bring value to the customer.
We work with low-code, process automation and integration technologies that require a multi-functional approach to project and delivery management. A Delivery Manager will bring a multi-functional skill set in Project Delivery, Business Analysis and Business Consulting. Proven knowledge of the airline, healthcare, finance and insurance industry is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Project Delivery:
• Manage successful end-to-end delivery of software projects for our clients.
• Drive the project delivery lifecycle, especially using Agile methods such as Scrum.
• Be a champion of the Agile delivery approach and help clients make the transition from waterfall methods to Agile, where required.
• Lead teams of Bits In Glass consultants and client resources on project related tasks, ensuring delivery dates are met.
• Work with key client stakeholders to define business processes, integration needs, build trust, and help the client innovate and automate their business through the use of our technologies.
• Communicate project status to clients in a timely manner via regular and detailed reporting.
• Mentor budding leaders and other junior team members with an interest in project delivery within Bits In Glass.
• Contribute to the Delivery Management function at Bits In Glass by sharing methods and best practices.
Business Analysis, Quality Assurance & Enablement:
• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements from the client team / Product Owner and document them in the form of user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize the backlog, elicit feedback on deliverables and raise questions to them on behalf of the development team.
• Present product increments during sprint demos and speak clearly to the capabilities of the product being built.
• Drive technology adoption and enable clients to be self-sufficient by empowering their resources.
• Foster and support the radiation (widespread use) of the technologies within the client's business.
• Perform end-to-end QA testing cycles during development sprints.
Business Consulting Expertise:
• Demonstrate a strong business consulting background by providing solutions to the customer's business problems.
• Be eager to delve into the customer's business domain and present strategies to C-level executives and decision-makers.
• Be comfortable with challenging the customer's status quo.
• Train end-users and adeptly communicate changes to impacted parties.
Required Experience:
• 5 years of experience in working directly with business stakeholders and mapping out process optimizations, workflows, continuous improvement initiatives, etc.
• Demonstrate strong change management skills in helping guide customers through their technology adoption.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven experience in working with C-level executives in enterprises.
• English-French bilingual capability, written and spoken communication required
***This role requires up to 35% travel within Canada and the United States. As a result we will only be considering NAFTA compliant candidates at this time. The TN Visa requires candidates that are a citizen of Canada, the United States or Mexico.
