Overview
The night warehouse coordinator is responsible for working efficiently in a warehouse environment to plan night warehouse operations, creating proper and detailed shipping loads. Works closely with night warehouse leadership to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all clerical duties and is able to work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization. Ensure special requests for driver load and customer orders are met.

Responsibilities
- Reading, interpreting, and optimizing individual customer’s sales orders into efficient work assignments for Warehouse Associate
- Responsible for substitutions and shorts; shorting adjusting product off invoices and substituting shorted product into another item
- Sequence printing
- Diagnostics and resolution of Warehouse Associate assignment errors
- Diagnostics and resolution of Warehouse Associate Vocollect errors
- Developing and maintaining databases
- Print invoices, separate and issue according to drivers
- Putting files, both digital and paper, into their proper locations
- Gathering and maintaining documents for coworkers’ use, such as reports, SFQ documents, and MHE reports
- Answering phone calls and emails regarding sales orders, routing/transportation, will calls, and production department communications
- Responsible for accurately identifying short-chase items and altering sales orders to maximize order fulfillment
- Maintain a safe working environment to reduce injuries and workers compensation claims.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving abilities
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills
- Ability to comprehend data points including but not limited to; unit counts, cube, weight, numerical and sequential number values to verify compliance with DOT regulations
- Ability to use basic Microsoft Excel functions to generate documents for truck loading
- Strong communication skills including both verbal and electronic
- Basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to work well independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work in cold temperature (0 to 40 degrees)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds plus consistently
- Forklift and Pallet Jack experience preferred
