Roles and Responsibilities
As a part of the IT Team, the IT Technician’s roles will include:
- Providing high-quality technical customer support
- Technicians will spend time out in the field at client sites as well as in the office
- One week quarterly you will be responsible for being on call
- Technical skills that would be useful:
- Windows desktop troubleshooting
- PC setup and deployment
- Basic Windows Server support: User additions, password changes, etc.
- Server application troubleshooting via vendor management
- Fire Share permissions changes
- Basic O365 administration
- Server application upgrades and installations
- Basic Active Directory administration
- Basic server hardware maintenance
- Basic wireless troubleshooting
- Email troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Experience in a managed service environment is a plus
- 2-5 years of direct work experience in IT support
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and transportation
