Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital
, an Accredited Chest Pain Center which carries a Level II stroke certification is seeking a Call Center Rep for our Security & Grounds Dept. This role is a vital part of the work we do by ensuring great customer service to our patients and staff. If you have prior customer service experience and enjoy working with people, this role may be for you.

Hours:
  • Sunday - Saturday (rotating days), 40 hrs p/wk
  • 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm
  • Ability to cover 3rd shift (overnights) when needed

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital
proudly serves the health care needs of families in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. The 102-bed community hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, the Breast Health and Women’s Center, the Cardiology Center, the Neurosurgery Center and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center.


Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and carries a Level II stroke certification. Additionally, the hospital’s medical office building houses offices for specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, dermatology, surgery and pulmonology. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital also offers outpatient services including physical therapy, a sleep lab, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation.

Preferred Qualifications


Role Purpose

Responsible for providing call center services by assisting internal and external callers in a professional and courteous manner.


Responsibilities

  • Answers and directs all inquiries from patients, visitors, physicians and staff to appropriate locations using an online database and printed directories.
  • Answers incoming calls according to department guidelines.
  • Provides paging service.
  • Provides clerical duties, organizes and maintains records.
  • Ensures customers receive exceptional service through consistent performance, answering, directing and paging according to the customers request.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • <2 years

Supervisor Experience

  • No Experience

Preferred Requirements

Experience

  • 2-5 years
