- This position will manage be responsible for managing all mobile medical equipment. Must follow all cleaning and sanitizing procedures to ensure that equipment is ready for use.
- Previous experience working in inventory management or in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Shift: 2:30p-11p, Sunday, Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday

Role Purpose
The Sterile Equipment Technician performs a variety of central sterile processing functions, which include the decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of medical equipment according to specified standards throughout the assigned medical facilities. They are required to maintain and control all assigned equipment and remedy process failures and hazards while maintaining the appropriate and complete records.
Responsibilities
- Follows proper techniques and procedures to ensure the integrity of the sterilization process.
- Performs medical equipment decontamination from designated area procedures according to specified standards
- Remedy equipment and process failures
- Maintain and control records in central software
- BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
