What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endoscopy Tech I position at BJC?
- Monday through Friday - 8 or 10 hours shifts
- No call or weekend coverage
- We do work "Late" shifts - meaning that once a week staff are assigned "late" where they are responsible to see operations of the department through completion and discharge of the last patients.
- Attention to detail is a MUST!!

Role Purpose
Under the direction of an RN and/or physician, the Endoscopy technician assists with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including transporting patients, disinfecting and process equipment, preparing the procedure room, and assisting in patient care.
