Overview : Job Summary :

Job Summary :

A Fine Dining Bartender at Black Desert Resort is responsible for providing excellent service at one of our multiple beverage outlets to guests by preparing and serving a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

This position reports to a Restaurant Manager and ensures that all drinks are made to the highest standards. The Bartender must be knowledgeable about the menu, capable of creating classic and innovative drinks, and committed to delivering a high level of guest satisfaction.

Location : Onsite at Black Desert Resort

Shift & Schedule : Year-Round / Full Time & Part Time / Weekends / Holidays

Pay Range : $9.00 / hour plus Tips. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $16 / hour inclusive of tips

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, following recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service, taking drink orders and engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glasses, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of trash.
• Monitor and restock bar inventory, including beverages, garnishes, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of alcoholic beverages.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after service.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to responsible alcohol service.
• Address guest concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new menu items and service standards.

Qualifications :

Preferred Qualifications and Skills :

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, company policies, and responsible alcohol service.
• Willingness to follow instructions and take on new challenges.

Compensation Range :

The compensation for this position is $9.00 / Hr. - $9.00 / Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
