Black Label Marine Group, one of the largest and fastest growing premier boat dealers, has expanded into retail clothing & acessories and are looking for strong candidates to become part of our “TeamBLMG” family. We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team and provide excellent customer service. We focus on top-of-the-line brands and unequaled service to our customers who we consider our ‘Team BLMG Family’. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, answering their questions, helping them find the products they need, and providing product knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Retail Sales Associate – Punta Gorda Location

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
• Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Maintain an orderly appearance of the sales floor.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, and inventory control.

Requirements:

• Maintain a positive attitude and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Self-motivated (Quality of Hours, Not Quantity!)
• Timely and accurate completion of work.
• Maintain 100% productivity with disciplined time management skills or willingness to learn how.
• Take and follow directions, understand and follow schedules and game plans.
• Proficient with computers including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office products and Dealer Management Systems (training will be provided).
• Internal/External customer satisfaction.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness are required.
• Project a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable image to all customers.
• Position may also require at times:
• To safely attend to customers at the fuel dock including pumping fuel.
• At times cover for co-workers at front desk & phones (customer service experience is a plus).

Compensation for this position is hourly based and based on experience, ability, and performance.

Benefits are available for full time employees on the 1st of the month following 30 days from hire date. Current benefits available include Health, Life, Dental, Vision, Accident, and many other insurance programs. We also offer certain holidays to be paid from day one & Paid Time Off is given after a year of continuous employment.
