What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Planner position at BlackArrow?
Cadent powers the evolution of TV brand advertising. We provide marketers, agencies, operators, and media owners with data-driven solutions for buying and selling TV advertising. By connecting brands with opportunities across national inventory sources-cable, broadcast, and digital media-our technology improves efficiencies and boosts the results of linear, addressable, and cross-screen campaigns.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, the Sales Planner will assist in building media plans, facilitating client requests and contributing to the overall success of the Sales team.
What You Will Do:
* Create and revise upfront and scatter plans for advertisers
* Submit plans for internal review and work with counterparts to balance inventory and pricing goals with client objectives
* Track and analyze schedule delivery and make recommendations to Account Executives for any necessary adjustments
* Partner with Advanced TV and Broadcast counterparts to facilitate cross-platform client plans
* Serve as the internal point of contact with external clients regarding flighting, plan revisions, reporting, billing, EDI, traffic issues and general questions related to the success of plans
* Revise customized sales presentations for agency meetings
* Participate in sales meetings
Your Skills:
* 1-3 years of media experience (preferably with exposure to TV)
* Bachelors Degree
* Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
* Strong verbal and written communication competency
* Ability to work effectively under pressure, making and meeting deadlines
* Possesses strong competence in math (specifically media math), analytical, and solutions-based skills
* Proficient in both Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
* Team player with a positive attitude always looking to contribute to the team's success and client needs
* Self-starter who takes a proactive approach to his/her work and can also work independently in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
