Position Title: Project Manager
Hours: Monday- Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Location: 65 Fairchild St., Charleston, SC 29492
Summary of Duties: Manages projects from planning to closeout, honoring project commitments for timeliness, quality, budget and business success. Directs and reviews backlog grooming with team members. Works with the QA team and setting expectations around testing strategy for releases. Manages product developments for the technical services portion of projects from initiation to closure, including high-level synopsis and tasks to be covered. Works with the development and account management teams to project outlines, scope, goals, deliverables, required resources and timing. Drives project meetings and coordinates communications with team levels. Promotes teamwork to achieve group goals. Tracks and reports on project milestones, and provides status reports to the Engineering and Product Management leadership teams. Acts as the point of escalation for risks raised by project teams, ensures action items are clearly defined, assigns to owners, and drives to resolution. Implements knowledge of technical and business aspects related to product development. Duties may performed remotely.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field, and five (5) years’ experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, Business Analyst or related role. Employer will also accept a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field and three (3) years’ experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, Business Analyst or related role. Must also have three (3) years’ experience with: Product development; Managing an Agile process; Project management tools, including JIRA; Requirements Gathering; and Tracking project guidelines and expectations.
