Job Posting for Director of Communications and Recruitment at Blackjack Horticulture

The overall responsibility of the Director of Communications and Recruitment is to create and implement strategic, creative, and effective plans for furthering Blackjack Horticulture’s relationships with prospective and current employees as well as prospective and current clients. This process will involve regular and consistent public communications, public speaking, as well as electronic and print marketing and communications.

Objectives:

  • Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting colleges, high schools, and websites among other avenues
  • Develop and implement simple, yet new and creative, ideas and opportunities to engage clients and employees
  • Coordinate and develop appreciation opportunities with employees, thereby increasing loyalty, team philosophy, productivity, pride, and ownership of work, leading to an even more enjoyable work environment and quality of life.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing strategy and opportunities to potential clients and build the Blackjack Horticulture brand.

Requires a creative and energetic individual who is self-motivated/self-starter, organized, methodical in planning, outgoing, friendly, and relational with excellent communication skills and strong personal character.
