Job Description Summary:
Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsib;e for recieveing payments and properly recording the transactions in a timely manner. The duties and responsibilities of the position require not only a knack for numbers, but also attention to detail and well developed organizational skills. Background in computer software and the ability to learn accounting softwae is a must.
Essential Functions:
Record payments by entering them into accounting software
Generate and send out invoices
Follow up on, collect and allocated payments
Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
Research and resolve payment discrepancies
Generate age analysis
Review AR aging to ensure compliance
Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
Prepare bank deposits
Run background checks on potential residents
Investigate and resolve customer queries
Process adjustments
Enter water usage reading into software
Calculate water usage
Post, print and mail water bills
Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail and personally
Assist in month end closing
Manage petty cash
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
Additional Responsibilities
Update and track cost sheets
Monthly count on homes for sale in community
Prepare closing statements for housing consultants
Prepare check request for closing of homes
Code incoming bills to be processed

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
