What You'll Do
As our Business Partner you will partner closely with Blank Street's Leaders within our HQ and Field organizations to drive strong employee engagement. You are capable of driving change across rapidly-growing and diverse organization. You will own developing scalable programs, identifying needs and implement solutions and helping us become the most desirable food and beverage employer in New York City. You will:
- Serve as a trusted strategic thought partner for our HQ office and for our General Managers across New York City
- Assist in developing and implementing People team initiatives focusing on retention, engagement, development, recognition, compensation, and talent management for our hourly team
- Proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
- Use actionable people metrics to provide insights that help drive career progression, retention, and engagement
- Coach, mentor, and advise employees and managers when needed
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
You Bring
- 4 years of increasing responsibility in the People space
- Deep empathy for the teams you support
- Experience with handling complex Employee Relations issues
- An eye for detail and a love of organization
- High computer literacy and fluency in G-Suite with ability to pick up new tools (like Notion, Asana, and Slack) quickly
