What you will DO:
- Assist in the excavation process by digging, trenching, and grading according to project specifications.
- Collaborate with equipment operators to ensure accurate and precise excavation work.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines during excavation activities.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are stored securely after use.
- Work closely with the excavation team and other construction professionals.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Transport and distribute materials as needed throughout the construction site.
- Keep the work area organized and free from debris.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Work in various weather conditions and environments.
What you NEED:
- Previous experience in construction or excavation preferred.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate hand tools and other equipment as needed.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Must pass a drug screen, MVR & background check
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
- Physical dexterity
