Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years management experience
  • 6 to 12 months of dispensary experience (Preferred)
  • Knowledge on Metrc and Seed to Sale software

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all cannabis state-specific regulations and laws, execute and enforce compliance efforts.
  • Responsible for running and completing daily sales reporting.
  • Responsible for maintaining quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards, handling customer inquiries, and resolving any complaints.
  • In conjunction with Human Resources, oversee the recruiting, interviewing and hiring process to build a team to deliver superior customer service and patient care.
  • Oversee dispensary environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement in order to provide coaching to the team and take action to achieve operational goals.
  • Responsible for coordinating inventory audits, assessments of productivity, and of new merchandise in partnership with other departments.
  • Establish a schedule for the retail staff on a regular basis including team member time-off.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and instill the same in others to promote teamwork.
  • Manage through challenging events to keep dispensary operating above standard.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
  • Manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes culture, values and the culture of Blazed.
  • Coordinate and partner with the Marketing Department to analyze metrics and recommend future opportunities.
  • Give authorization to a second party and act as witness to employee discipline as well as terminations.
  • Supervise the daily operations of the retail store including product orders, cash handling, financial reporting, customer communication, patient education, and building and managing an effective team.
  • Provides observations to assist with employee performance reviews.
  • Responsible for coordinating operations, merchandising, staffing, training, rewards, discipline, and employee evaluations for the store.
  • Provide relief to other employees in any position.
  • Responsible for securing the facility when closed, maintaining the secure alarm codes and safe codes.
  • Create and sustain vendor relationships.
  • Train, develop, coach, encourage, and champion all staff members.
  • Develop and lead daily, and monthly team meetings.
  • Responsible for utilizing management information tools and analyzing financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance.
  • Provides access to third-party vendors for cleaning, maintenance, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Proficiency using Google applications.
  • Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.
  • Detail oriented with an eye on process optimization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.
  • Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 20 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above.
  • Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day. Must be capable of working in front of a computer for extended periods of time based on job duties listed above.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities and a strong sense of urgency multiple projects , such as; priorities and meet deadlines, strong conflict management skills.
  • Experience with frequent interaction with customers, fulfilling the requests of customers, and taking responsibility for addressing customer issues, questions or suggestions.
  • If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week (including holidays) and to be flexible with schedule.
  • Experience in leadership/people management roles in a retail, hospitality, and/or sales setting is required-or equivalent
  • Cannabis experience strongly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay
