Delivery Driver

Overview
A BlazeXpress Delivery Driver performs driving and service responsibilities for BlazeXpress. Our Delivery Operator license (Holyoke Smokes Corp MD1284) allows us as a Marijuana Establishment to Warehouse marijuana products that Customers will order online for Home Delivery. All Drivers must be comfortable on the road and responsibly handling our company vehicle. Because of the regulated nature of our products, Drivers must have an eye for detail and follow delivery procedures thoroughly to ensure compliance and Customer satisfaction. Due to the start-up nature of the business, Delivery Drivers are encouraged to cross-train for other positions, including but not limited to Inventory Expert and Virtual Budtender.

Schedule
Flexible schedule available in 4 hour shifts predominantly nights and weekends until 10pm

Responsibilities
- Provide best Customer experience for all home deliveries - Must be on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts
- Build rapport with Customers to ensure they continue to order from BlazeXpress
- Answer phones appropriately and maintaining proper phone etiquette
- Diligent ID checking upon arriving at the delivery residential location
- Use of technology for e-commerce, logistics and communication
- Ability to follow detailed operating procedures to ensure compliance and Customer order accuracy
- Educate Customers on BlazeXpress's mission and products
- Complete daily checklists and directly maintain appearance of delivery vehicles, daily opening and closing duties
- Possess general working knowledge of products
- Responsible for all inventory during and after home delivery attempts
- Other duties as assigned

Pay Range
$18 to $25 per hour

Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings - Must have a clean driving record: no speeding tickets within the last 2 years, no more than 2 moving violations and one at-fault accident within the last 3 years, and no major traffic violations or incidents in the past 5 years
- Eligible for MA Marijuana Establishment Agent registration including ability to pass CORI and National background checks Qualifications
- Positive, friendly attitude - Ability to work from and operate a vehicle for up to 8-hour shift
- Tech-savvy: ability to operate body camera; GPS; communication and vehicle equipment
- Must be able to speak with strangers and project a pleasant, trustworthy personality for our Customers
- Attention to detail
- Ability to learn and communicate to Customers state and local laws/regulations for cannabis home delivery
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Previous delivery experience is a plus
