What are the responsibilities and job description for the Donor Development Associate position at Blessings International?
Blessings International is a Christian 501(c)(3) non profit ministry that provides medicine, medical supplies, and other products to short-term medical mission teams serving the indigent in the United States and developing nations, full-time clinics and hospitals in developing nations, disaster relief, and other medical missionary needs, as well as Blessings own benevolent projects.
- Education 2.1 High School/GED or equivalent, Associate degree preferred.

- The Donor Development Associate reports to the CFO.

- Maintain accuracy of donation database (Kindful)
- Interface with technical support representatives for Kindful and credit card payments.
- Process mailing lists for US mail and email from Kindful.
- Maintain and update contact information in Constant Contact and Mobile Cause.
- Interface with donors regarding their accounts.
- Process weekly donation acknowledgments and reports.
- Reconcile donations to General Ledger income and expense funds.
- Create/process/analyze reports detailing donation activity for month end reporting.
- Process year-end reports and donor tax receipts for all donations.
- Process donations received through CFC/NTN—maintain donor information.
- Process reports from Pledge Net and Christian Service Charities.
- Schedules regular presentations and appeals to community groups and potential funding organizations, offsite and through social media.
- Calls on donors regularly for updates, increased commitments, and opportunities to involve in new ways.
- Solicits in-kind goods and services as needed.
- Monitors Blessings’ compliance with donor gift intent.
- Responsible for sending/saying “thank you” on a timely basis to donors.
- Maintains comprehensive schedule of grant opportunities, deadlines, follow-up activities and reporting requirements for grants received.
- Prepare quality grant requests, works collaboratively with CFO.
- Schedules and documents post event de-briefings with the CFO.
- Manages all aspects of CFC/NTN campaign.
- Process weekly donation acknowledgements and reports.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
